Running Accomplishments:

Last year I decided to run a marathon. I finally got in St. George, ran a 3:31, maybe could have gone faster but ran Logan 2 weeks before as a training run, and was going to drop out if I felt like I was going to bonk, finished in 3:37 or something, not bad for my first 2 at 40.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Finish the St. George runners series races to be a sure thing for the marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to do at least 2 marathons a year, and not die at Coure de Alene in June.

Personal:

I am married to the most supportive lady in the world, sorry all other dudes, but you got second best there. She's the best, I also have 2 daughters, that are 16 and 13. They are pretty dang cool too.

WOW!!! you got out there early and ran a pretty fast 6 miler in 9F. AWESOME!!! Was the Jordan R Parkway plowed? Keep up the good work. Which races are you doing (or have done) for the runner series? Which two marathons are you running this year. Your SGM times both years were VERY IMPRESSIVE!!

Good luck with your training for the tri. Oh, and WELCOME to the blog. Looks to me you are gonna be a NICE contributor here. Look forward to reading about your training.

You swam over a mile? that is awesome. I need to get back at it. I want to train for a couple tri's this year.

Hey CJ. I'm so glad you finally have a blog. You're training looks great. You should have run with us today. It was 17 degrees in South Jordan. It's always colder on trail.

I wish I was in the carribbean! But then coming back to 9 degrees, that's rough! I feel for your kids, Marley & Me had me violently sobbing... I NEVER need to see a movie that sad again!

Ya, it's rough sometimes running in the tropical hawaii weather. I usually don't run very much in the winter because I hate the cold but here I can run all year long. Good luck with the ironman. I have the dedication to do one someday but putting in the training hours worry me and it doesn't help that I can't get up before 5:45 to workout.
