Running Accomplishments:

Last year I decided to run a marathon. I finally got in St. George, ran a 3:31, maybe could have gone faster but ran Logan 2 weeks before as a training run, and was going to drop out if I felt like I was going to bonk, finished in 3:37 or something, not bad for my first 2 at 40.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Finish the St. George runners series races to be a sure thing for the marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to do at least 2 marathons a year, and not die at Coure de Alene in June.

Personal:

I am married to the most supportive lady in the world, sorry all other dudes, but you got second best there. She's the best, I also have 2 daughters, that are 16 and 13. They are pretty dang cool too.

Well last night I ran an awesome 11 miler, until.... mile 8, it was there that it happened. You all know what I'm talking about, especially if you have run for any amount of time. It was the dreaded PENGUIN RUN!!!!! You know, when out of nowhere you need to offload all food intake from the previous meals! There was nowhere to go but home, and by the grace of the allmighty, I made it!!! After which I engaged in the most awesome happy dance you have ever seen!! All in all though it was a fantastic run, can we all say at once? Spring is nigh!

Hahahaha. Been there.

I was running a local peak last year and got hit by what I call the "12 minute rule". My general rule normally applies to restaurants, but in this case it was the next morning.

Long story short, there is half of a sleeve to my Ralph Lauren shirt somewhere buried near the top of the Sugarloaf lift at Alta, UT.

I have pictures to prove it - of the lack of sleeve, that is.

Well we don't even need to talk about me because there isn't enough time to list all of the OH NO'S I've had! Great running big brother!
